Cristiano Ronaldo who came in as a substitute found the back of the net twice on his return following two weeks out of action having tested positive for Covid-19 as Juventus won 1-4 away to Spezia.

The five time Ballon d’or winner, who missed four games including a Champions league game, slotted in to make it 2-1 three minutes after coming on in the second half.
His second goal was a penalty after Adrien Rabiot’s cool finish had given Juve a two-goal advantage.

Ronaldo, tested positive for Covid-19 on the 13th of October and failed to produce a negative result on the eve of his side’s Champions League match against Barcelona last Wednesday and this obviously disappointed him as he failed to face his long time rival, the six time Ballon d’or winner, Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo was only cleared on Friday to return to the pitch and the former Real Madrid forward was eventually used as a substitute by coach Andrea Pirlo.

He was introduced in the 56th minute, and three minutes later he scored after taking the ball around goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.

Juventus is yet to lose a game this season in Serie A and is now second on the log with 12 points from six games played, winning three and drawing three.

They are just four points shy of Millan who are sitting at the summit of the log with 16 points.
